A “Pretty in Pink” Baby Shower

2016 has been the year of parties for me and my friends. With majority of us turning 30 this year, it seems that we’ve been partying non-stop since January. What better way to continue in the year long celebration than by throwing a baby shower in the mix?! Sarah, Meghan and I have been friends since kindergarten. We’ve grown up together, experienced important milestones together and now God has us going through this thing called adulthood together. Meghan is expecting her second child, a baby girl, and Sarah and I thought it was so necessary to throw her a shower. We wanted to make this day extra special for her and one that she would always remember. We didn’t want her to worry about capturing special moments and details from her “Pretty in Pink” baby shower so Sarah and I called on our favorite photographer Charles Beason to help us out!

Sarah and I got a lot of inspiration from Pinterest and Youtube. We wanted to stick with the theme that Meghan will be doing for #babygirlking’s nursery. Friends and family from near and far joined us in honoring Meghan on this joyous occasion. We ate, played a few (just a few because we all hate baby shower games lol) games and showered Meghan with gifts for #babygirlking. Take a look at some of the beautiful shots by Charles.

This was such a fun experience and to see the look on Meghan’s face made it even more special for us. We can’t wait for the arrival of our new niece!
