The owner of Clean Juice in Twickenham in Huntsville, AL recently contacted me on IG. She introduced herself and told me she had fallen in love with my IG and she also loved that I was expressing my Christian faith on social media. She offered me a free product! I had seen Clean Juice a couple times while visiting Taco Mama and wondered about what they had to offer, so now that I had a free product on the table I knew I had to pay them a visit! Here’s what I loved…
Calming/relaxed atmosphere
I felt like CJ was the perfect place to grab a quick bite or a drink on the way to work because it has such a calming/chill atmosphere. It didn’t feel like the crazy busyness or rushed feeling of coffee shops, which is totally okay, but for the type of morning I was having I appreciated the quiet calm, relaxed feeling that CJ provided.
Helpful and friendly staff
The first person I met when I walked into CJ was Andrea. She was the best – super helpful and patient. I am always so indecisive when I am trying new things so she helped make a really tough decision much easier. I wanted to try the Acai Fall Bowl which is basically a smoothie bowl, but it was freezing that morning and I wanted something warm. Initially I thought CJ only served juices and smoothies, so I was very happy to see they also had warm bites! I was in the mood for oats, but I still wanted the fall flavor. Andrea came up with a great idea to combine the Fall Bowl and the regular Oats Bowl – it was delicious!! Def gave me the fall vibes I wanted ๐
Great selections – more than just juice
As I said, CJ offers more than just juice and smoothies. They have oats bowls, acai bowls, toasts, cold-pressed bottles, cold-pressed shots, cleanses, kids smoothies, a seasonal menu and I believe they have coffee (but don’t quote me). It’s a great way to start your day. Oh! – CJ also has apparel!
Support great causes
While waiting for my oats, I saw that CJ was supporting three different causes – Movers for Mutts, which supports animals in need, donations to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and “Convoy of Hope” for Hurricane Michael relief. I thought it was so awesome to see that they are a company about giving back, helping those in need and supporting great causes and initiatives.
Christian-based company
I saved the best for last! Jessica, the Twickenham store owner, told me that CJ is a Christian-based company and I thought that was very unique and awesome. I especially loved that they have a prayer request jar! You can write down your prayer requests, place them in the jar and they pray over your requests. I love it! I love the story behind Clean Juice, how it was started and how it has grown.
Next I’m going to try one of their cleanses, trying to get an end-of-the-year challenge going on, similar to this. Anyway, if you are in the Huntsville area, be sure to check out Clean Juice! My goal is to try everything on the menu, so let me know your faves ๐
