I’m so excited that The Ladies Lounge is hosting a Part II event of the Release Party we had in September. On September 13, 2015 approximately 30 women gathered together at a cute intimate clothing and accessories boutique for an evening of renewal. The Ladies Lounge saw a need within our community and presented women with a “Release Party” at The Style Bar to give them an opportunity to not only hear relatable stories of women but to also release some of the burdens they’ve been carrying. We had a panelist of 5 amazing women who are walking in their purpose and making a name for themselves in Huntsville and surrounding areas. Our panelists included Terri Little, Adyre Mason, Loreal Jones, Chasity Pettigrew and Courtney Matthews. These ladies touched on issues of rejection, acceptance, low self-esteem, expectations, self worth, issues to which we all as women can relate. After each panelist shared their story of a personal struggle they had to overcome in order to walk in their purpose they answered questions from our guests.
The first event sold out within two hours of it being announced and we had such a great turn out that we decided to get together again for a Part II with more ladies, more conversation, more questions and more burdens released! If you are in the Huntsville, AL area make sure you join us this Sunday, November 8 at Mei Wei Asian Bistro from 5:00-8:00 (or until Mei Wei kicks us out).
