Let me start off by saying, I LOVE Versona! They contacted me for another collaboration with the launching of their Spring look book. Again I was sent a gift card to shop their new collection in the store and details on when the new collection would arrive. When I went into the store, as always, I was greeted by the sales associates. I told them who I was and they pulled out the rack of their Spring look book pieces. I browsed the collection to see what I would purchase with the gift card. There were so many cute things to choose from, but I ended up going with a floral skirt and cream top. I wanted the linen pants because I LOVE linen, but I often struggle when it comes to buying pants because more times than not they are too long and I have to get them tailored. So I opted to go the easier route with a skirt, but my eye is still on those linen pants 😉
The last time Versona and I collaborated was during the launch of their Fall look book and I was encouraged by Patty, the manager, to start doing style posts on my blog. When she said that, I was like, “ehh”. I follow many fashion bloggers and love their sense of style, how they put pieces together and just the quality of their style posts, so I thought there was no way I could do that. I was just fearful of trying something new that puts me outside of my comfort zone (who isn’t?!). Sure I enjoy taking pictures, but to actually take my time thinking about outfits on a regular basis and come up with creative ways to style and talk about the pieces just sounded like a lot to me. But because of the encouragement I’ve received I decided to go for it and start incorporating more style posts into She experienced…
Take a look at what I picked up at Versona:
What Am I Wearing?
As I mentioned this outfit is from Versona’s Spring collection. I chose this outfit because of the flowers and the colors! Also because I could dress it up with heels for church or make it a little business casual with a cardigan and flats for work. The skirt can be paired with other tops and the same with the top, other skirts. I wanted something that would be versatile for me that I could wear in multiple ways. That’s usually my thinking when I buy clothing because I don’t shop that often. I try to think of various ways I could wear the pieces and make sure I can get at least two different looks out of them, unless it’s like formal wear. My thinking is always church and work because that’s where I spend 6/7 days of the week! Versona is great for pieces that can be mixed, matched and layered. If you don’t have a local Versona store, you’re in luck because they have a website where you can still take advantage of their super cute and affordable pieces!

If you haven’t shopped at Versona, what are you waiting for?! They have clothing for all lifestyles from work, to church to daytime casual looks. The possibilities are endless when it comes to Versona. Their accessories and cute little home goods are always the perfect addition to your purchase!
Also, if you are secretly fearful of doing something outside of your comfort zone yet so necessary for your growth and the furthering of what you’re called to do, let me tell you to just go for it! Who cares if you think other people will think you’re corny, who cares if a million people you follow on social media are already doing it, none of that matters because your style, your creativity and your gifts are different from everyone else. No two people are alike even if they’re doing the same thing. You have just as much to offer as the next person, so I say go for it! Let 2017 be the year where you do something that scares you ?
Until next time…

I love this look on you! We don’t have a Versona in my area, but I’m glad they have an online store 🙂
