I recently discovered a new way to clean and that’s with all natural products. I used to clean with the usuals like Lyson, Clorox, Scrubbing Bubbles, etc., but those products used to irritate my nose so bad to the point where I would feel like I was able to pass out from inhaling the fumes. My MIL discovered some all natural brands through At Home with Nikki and introduced me to a company called Grove Collaborative who sells all natural cleaning products, personal products and other items. Kitchen
So the two brands of products I use in my kitchen are Mrs. Meyers and Method. On the side of my kitchen sink I keep the lavender scented dish soap, hand soap and hand lotion (all by Mrs. Meyers), the Grove Collaborative bubble-up dish brush set and walnut scrubber sponge in a stoneware tray. This helps to keep the area neat and clean. The kitchen towel and longer dish brush were free gifts! Mrs. Meyers multi-surface cleaner is perfect for those days when I just need to clean down the counters and stove really quickly. When I want to get into a deeper more detailed cleaning, I pull out the Method cleaners that are specific to glass and surface (like a glass stove top), granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. All of these products leave my kitchen smelling so fresh and clean without the harsh fumes.
Wood Floors
We have wood floors in the common areas which can get dirty more often than I’d like to clean them. Well Grove offers great wood cleaners by Method. I especially love the Squirt + Mop for our floors because if I need to do a quick cleaning all I have to do is squirt the cleaner on the floor and use a microfiber mop to clean and that’s it! No bucket of soap and water needed when you only have time for a quick cleaning. I try to do this weekly or every other week and then do a more thorough mopping with this products AND soap and water (although the directions say you don’t need it) monthly. The spray wood cleaner is perfect for wood furniture and I also like to clean the baseboards with this. These are the almond scent and it makes mopping that much better because the smell is divine.
Bathroom
Method also has great bathroom cleaners. I love the multi-purpose antibacterial cleaner for the sinks and showers. I just love being able to clean and not feel like I’m high lol. Between these two products and the glass cleaner, this is all I really use for our bathrooms. We have bathtubs but don’t use them, so I haven’t gotten a surface scrub yet. I’ll probably add that to my bathroom products along with a foaming cleanser for the shower.
Linen and Room Refresher
Probably my favorite out of all the products are the linen and room sprays by Caldrea. Gain original scent by Fabreeze was my go-to, but Caldrea has taken their spot! I love spraying this on our sofa, bed and just in the air when our home needs a refresher. What’s great about this product is that the smell lasts and it just smells more natural if that makes sense. It’s just light enough where you’re not coughing after spraying but powerful enough that the smell lingers. If you don’t get anything else from Grove, you MUST get the Caldrea linen and room spray. The two scents that I have are Sea Salt Neroli and Tangelo Palm. I haven’t gotten any other Caldrea products, but I just may try out some of their other stuff.
